What sets this detector apart
Most detectors return a percentage and stop there. Here the percentage comes with a photographer's reading: how the light falls, whether the depth of field matches the stated optics, whether materials react to light in a plausible way. On top of that comes the technical side of the file: EXIF data, C2PA provenance traces, signs of local editing.
When signals conflict or engine coverage is insufficient, the report states insufficient evidence instead of forcing a number. Every change to the way engines are fused goes through a repeatable benchmark of 10,179 tests, including a dedicated category of real photographs worked in post production, because an authentic retouched photo must not end up declared AI generated.
